Cross-country cyclist and health advocate, Chris Figureida will be making a stop on his 3,500 mile bike trip to promote the American Heart Association’s message of healthy lifestyles to kids.Figureida will be at Oak Ridge Elementary in Sartell, this Friday from 10 until 10:30 a.m.

He will meet with 3rd and 4th graders to talk about the importance of fostering safety and healthy activity for kids.Superintendent Dr. Joseph Hill and members of the city council will also be there to read a proclamation declaring October Safe Routes to School Month.
