St. Cloud Police were called to the 100 block of St. Germain Street East to respond to a possible assault late Saturday night. The police investigation says that the victim, a 52-year-old St. Cloud man, was allegdly assaulted by 52-year-old Tyrone Clinton of St. Cloud while he was in his apartment.

Police say Clinton entered the victim’s apartment through an open door and hit him in the face with the back of a screw driver. The victim received minor injuries. Clinton was arrested and taken to the Benton County jail where he is being held on a charge of 2nd degree assault.
