St. Cloud State’s Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Resource Center has just announced Brandon Johnson has been hired to serve as their interim Director. Wanda Overland, the LGBT Center’s Vice President announced the news which is the first announcement since former Director Hedi Aldes stepped down from the position last month.

Johnson is a member of the SCSU community, having already held a number of administrative positions including Resident Hall Director, Director of the Center for British Studies, and Director for the Center of International Studies. Johnson also received his Master of Science Degree at SCSU, during which he served as a graduate assistant in the LGBT Center.

The center says they’re pleased to have Brandon and look forward to his leadership and engagement in the University and broader community.
