I-94 drivers near Albertville may notice what looks like the aftermath of a crash on Tuesday, but it won’t be real. Between 9 am and 5 pm, the Minnesota Department of Transportation will stage a crash on the test section of the highway near mile marker 198. It’s part of the filming for a new public service announcement highlighting changes to Minnesota’s “Move Over" law. The law requires drivers on multi-lane highways to move one lane away from emergency vehicles with flashing lights on the road or shoulder. The law now includes maintenance vehicles and the DOT’s freeway service patrol.
