Bridge maintenance is planned for I-94 from Monticello to Highway 241 this Thursday, June 23rd. Starting at 8:00 a.m., MnDOT bridge crews will conduct “deck flushing” which is done once a year on bridges. Deck flushing prolongs the life of the bridge and reduces future maintenance by using water to remove salts and other debris to prevent corrosion. Motorists should prepare to slow down and change lanes where necessary. Work will be completed by 3:30 p.m. weather permitting.
