The St. Cloud City Council is meeting tonight and has two larger agenda items to discuss.

Under the consent agenda the council is looking to approve the Mississippi River Bluffs Regional Park Improvement Project. The project is funded in part by $427,000 in Legacy Funds and will improve the trails, create a boat launch and create parking and road service in an area behind the composting facility off Clearwater Road. The River Bluffs project requires matching funds from the city and other sources.

The council will also have a public hearing on subsidies for the business expansion of Microbiologics Incorporated. They will discuss tax increment financing, a grant for $199,000 and other loan documents as well as terms of a $151,000 revolving fund loan. Microbiologics sells micro-organism to clients for use in quality assurance programs in diagnostic and industrial microbiology testing laboratories.

The meeting begins at 6 p.m. at City Hall on 4th Avenue south and can be viewed on Charter Cable in St. Cloud.
