Dozens of police officers dressed in full gear will be seen around the St. Cloud State campus participating in training exercises. 22 officers from the St. Cloud Police Department and other area communities will participate in training exercises conducted by the FBI’s Minneapolis-based SWAT team. The training will take place Thursday at Eastman Hall from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Officers will be using full tactical weaponry which has been made safe. There will be “police training” signs posted at the entrances of the building. St. Cloud State University says it fully supports the training exercise.
