The Stearns History Museum will be celebrating Minnesota’s first First Lady and her involvement in the state’s first historic preservation movement.

Recognized by the St. Cloud chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the presentation will detail how Sarah Jane Sibley used her training, skills and relationships to move Minnesota forward despite the difficulties and hardships of the Civil War era.The author will be present to sign copies of the first biography of any of Minnesota’s first ladies.

Join the celebration and learn more about this intriguing woman at the Stearns History Museum Breakfast Club Wednesday Nov. 9 from 9-10 a.m. Members of the museum will be admitted for free, while non-members will be charged five dollars.
