A 15-year-old St. Cloud girl is being held in a juvenile detention center for allegedly taking her mother’s car. Early last Friday morning, police say the girl, who does not have a driver’s license, took her mother’s car without permission and drove off to an unknown location. Almost 24 hours after she left, police found the girl about 2 1/2 miles from her mother’s home. The girl faces charges of unauthorized use of a car, juvenile runaway, and driving without a license. The car was returned to the mother undamaged.
