KVSC is giving you the chance to go see Greg Brown at the Stephen B. Humphrey Theater on the campus of St. John’s University on Saturday, April 16.  Greg Brown is just your ordinary Iowa Zen beatnik folkie, who happens to make nuanced and intelligent music. He was raised by a family that made music and words a way of life. His grandfather played the banjo and his mother the electric guitar; his grandmother was a poet and his father a Holy Roller preacher!
