A rural St. Joseph woman died in St. Wendel Township Friday afternoon when she was run over by a loaded grain wagon. 

According to Stearns County Sheriff John Sanner, 52-year-old Mary Ann Fiedler had been assisting in unhooking the wagon from a tractor to be re-hooked to a truck.  The wagon began to roll away, and the woman was run over when she tried to stop it herself.

 The accident remains under investigation by the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office.
