KVSC Magical Musical Tour

It's KVSC's Fall Pledge Drive! Roll up to the Magical Musical Tour and join to support music not played anywhere else on the radio - independent alternative artists, local music from our town and beyond, Latin, Jazz, folk, punk, conscientious hip-hop, world music, deep cuts of classic rock, the list goes on. Where else will these artists gain the exposure and support of their art if they did not have stations like KVSC to reach engaged music fans like you?

Hop on the tour with our volunteer radio hosts, news and sports from our neck of the woods and punch your musical ticket by calling (320)-308-5872.

You can also pledge online anytime at here.

Attention college freshmen, returning students and community members!

KVSC offers free radio training.

You can be a music announcer, news reporter, sports commentator, help in the writing and production of public service announcements and radio programs, and be part of an all-around good group of people (if we do say so ourselves).

Former KVSCers have enjoyed great success. They work as music promoters, radio station staff members, Twin Cities TV news anchors and Major League Baseball TV play-by-play announcers.

Succeed. Be involved with KVSC. It's fun and rewarding.

Trivia 2015 Theme Revealed

Facebook Twitter

08/12/2014 - 5:00 PM

Brace yourself... “Trivia Weekend is coming” – those are the words of our people: the reoccurring prophecy of 88.1 FM KVSC’s Trivia Weekend, now in its 36th year. The seers have foretold of this competition - Game of Trivia: Quest for Futile Facts. KVSC calls upon all men, women and children of the realm to raise up their sigils and defend their teams February 13th through 15th in the year 2015.

The 50 hour tournament will chronicle the worlds of fantasy literature and folklore, as conveyed through legends, tales and myths … and will test the literature, television and film knowledge of kings and elves alike. Our quest will never be successful without the Fellowship of Trivia Volunteers, because one does not simply walk through 50 hours of Trivia.

Because in the Game of Trivia: Quest for Futile Facts, you either win… or you sleep.
